He leaves to cherish his precious memories a loving and devoted wife: Dollie Harris; three sons, William Troy Hogan, William Lary Gillespie and Melvin Rice all of Starkville, MS; and one daughter Niecey (Melvin) Davis of Starkville, MS; on step-son whom he considered a son Metric (Debra) Hogan of Tupelo, MS; fouteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two sister-in-laws and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
