He is survived by five children: Alando Selvie, and Demetrius Selvie; daughters: Jennifer Johnson and Dr. Sounya Walker all of Flint, MI; and Erica Hill of Starkville, MS; four brothers: Frank Selvie, J.T. Selvie, and Henry Spencer of Columbus, MS; Jessie Lee Selvie of Starkville, MS; six sisters: Helen Brooks, Alberta Selvie, Dorothy Harris, Annie Sue Selvie of Starkville, MS; Johnnie Stallings of Ackerman, MS; Lisa Selvie of Columbus, MS; and Elizabeth Gillespie of Starkville, MS; 18 grandchildren.
