He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Holmes of Starkville, MS; two sons: Bobby Holmes of El Dorado Hill, CA; Terrell Holmes of Jackson, MS; one daugther, Lena Poe of Madison, MS; 5 grandchildren; seven sisters: Lurlean Washington of Minneapolis, MN; Queen Holmes, Dorothy Holmes and Evelyn Holmes all of Waterloo, IA; Dorothy Holmes of Jackson, MS; Shirley Holmes and Hattie Bulluck of Starkville, MS; two brothers; Frank Holmes and Murry Holmes both of Minneapolis, MN; 5 grandchildren: Jermaine, Lebria, Darius, Jaden and Jordan; his mother-in-law, Lena B. Reives of Starkville, MS; and one aunt, Louise Rogers of Memphis, TN.
