Mrs. Zerlie Mae Childs-Golden

On February 18, 2015 the Lord called His daughter, Zerlie Mae Childs-Golden, home. She was born on August 21, 1952 to the late Willie James and Julia Mae Childs. She obtained her education at Henderson High School in Starkville, MS. She became a Christian at an early age and joined New Prairie Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She served as a faithful member until she relocated to Ripley, TN in 1990. Zerlie was married to Jerry L. Golden for 25 years. She leaves to cherish her loving memories four (4) daughters, Carla Childs and Hope Childs of Ripley, TN and Karen Childs and Mona (Ricardo) Harris of Starkville, MS; four (4) stepchildren, Gladys Golden of Biloxi, MS, Brenda Golden of Southaven, MS, Jerry F. (Bridgett) Golden of Houston, MS, and Calvin Golden of Covington, TN; six (6) grandchildren, Litisha (Kefauver) Inge of Cordova, TN, Marshall Clinton, Jr. of Starkville, MS, Antonio Caine of Nashville, TN, Devin Tate, Justin Riley, and Ju’Nya Bates of Ripley, TN; two great-grandchildren, Keidyn and...
